High School Sports Feature: All she does is throw strikes

In the foothills of Mount Rainier is a town called Bonney Lake. And last week, the town's high school softball team showed they are a force to be reckoned with.

Bonney Lake High School pitcher Caitlin Colvin was simply on fire last Friday, April 10, against Sumner High School.

Colvin struck out 19 of the 21 batters that she faced and propelled Bonney Lake to a 2-0 win.

But this isn't the first time she has been perfect this season. Earlier in the year she threw a no-hitter and is now 4-0 overall.

As for strikeouts she has 49 on the year.

On Wednesday, April 15, the Bonney Lake Panthers thrashed Peninsula High School 5-1. And currently sit in first place in the South Puget Sound League 3A with a 6-0 record.

Today they host Clover Park High School.
