Rocky to the NYC
Another Seahawk free agent is gone. So long Rocky Bernard.
Bernard, entering his eighth season, signed a four-year $16 million deal with the New York Giants.
He was drafted by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2002 draft out of Texas A & M.
During his first three seasons he mainly served as a back up, but over time he started in 55 of 103 regular season games with Seattle.
The loss of first Morris, now Bernard and the additions of no one is beginning to make many Seahawks fans wonder, "who'll be the next to leave the Emerald City? And will any one else come?"
