Tonight the NFL announced the lineups for the Pro Bowl. And I must say there were not many surprises.
Eight Patriots, eight 49ers, seven Packers and seven Ravens. It's pretty easy to tell that the best teams will have the best players and therefore the most Pro Bowl picks.
But how'd Brandon's favorite team, the Tennessee Titans, and my favorite team, the Seattle Seahawks fare?
Well the 7-8 Seahawks had ONE players selected. That's right, safety Earl Thomas in just his second season got a Pro Bowl selection. Looks like he was a great draft choice.
But not to be outdone, the 8-7 Titans have a whomping ZERO players selected. Wah wah. Sorry Brandon.

Jake Locker to the Titans? I am now a confused individual
With the eighth pick in the NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans picked Jake Locker.
The same Jake Locker I've been reaming on for the past four years for being an inaccurate passer and overall a package-wrapped NFL bust.
Well the irony gods just threw a pile of crap my way. As a huge Titans fan, what should I do?
1. Should I root for Jake Locker? He is from my home state even though he played for the loathsome Washington Huskies.
2. Should I jump ship, become a Raiders fan, get $1,000 of dollars of Raiders gear and not know the record of my team during the season like every other Raiders' fan?
3. Should I hope that the NFL locks out all its players and Jake Locker decides to take up cycling instead.
I will give Jake this... he's not Vince Young. He's not going to puss out when people boo him. He's not going to go missing and need his head coach to go and find him. He's not going to throw his head coach under the bus. He's not going to need his mom to tell people to leave him alone.
No, Jake Locker is a competitor and that will could for something. However, I'm not going to dress up the Brandon Hansen Tennessee Titans Welcoming Hall with confetti and cake. I'll be a skeptic of Jake going into the NFL and he'll have to prove himself in my eyes.
Otherwise put in Kerry Collins! Or as I like to call him...
Now if the Titans get Taiwan Jones in the draft (as my friend Eric suggested), they will have Roos and Jones on the roster and should be called the Eastern Washington Titans instead of the Tennessee Titans.

Goodbye, Vince Young
Looks like the Tennessee Titans made the right choice and decided to abandon the Vince Young project. Bravo. After hearing what he did in the locker room, I thought it was unbecoming of somebody who could take a team to the Super Bowl. Good riddens Vince Young.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams says it's time to let Vince Young go and for the franchise to find its next quarterback.
The Titans released a statement Wednesday night in which Adams said Young won't be on the team's roster next season, but he's still evaluating the coaching staff.
"We have two critical decisions to make, the direction of the coaching staff and the future at the quarterback position. They are separate issues to me and will be dealt with separately," Adams said.
Adams is the owner who wanted Young drafted No. 3 overall out of Texas in 2006 and said on draft day that "VY is my guy." But with his general manager and senior executive vice president traveling to Houston to meet with Adams on Monday, the 88-year-old owner decided Young no longer is the quarterback for his franchise.
They're still looking at the coaching staff, but I would like to say that this year Young was a locker room cancer and so was Randy Moss. That's not the coaches fault.

I've noticed something about Chris Johnson
Look at this, observe Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson...
And now take a look at this...
No wonder he rushed for over 2,000 yards this year. He's a freakin' Alien.

Reliving the Titans win in Seattle
All you Seahawks fans are probably bemoaning the loss to the Tennessee Titans but... whatever... go Titans.
Notice the Dallas Cowboys douche texting in the bottom right.
"We had to pay MONEY to see this? BOOOOOOO!"
"Hey! A sporting events where Seattle fans actually show up! How about that eh?"
"What is this? Is this a douuughnut? I love doughnuts. MMmm Doughnuts..."
"Hmmm did I leave the oven on? Awww crap"
"Boy did that other team suck or what?"
"I'm trying out for the Quarterback position because I know I won't be head coach next season."
"AHHHH! The voices! They won't stop! AHHHH!"
"Uh Mike, that's the radio inside your helmet"
Team Photo Time! WEEEEEE!!!
"Awww so that's what a quarterback throwing the football looks like. Amazing"

Epic Failure... the Tennessee Titans yesterday
While Casey's Indianapolis Colts are undefeated and rolling to the playoffs, my Tennessee Titans got crushed yesterday on Christmas 42-17. That destroys their slim playoff hopes, but hey, at least they did follow up an 0-6 start with a historical comeback. Now they face the Seahawks, which I'm pretty sure it will be the Chris Johnson show in Seattle.
Have you seen how well Chris Johnson runs? Have you seen how crummy the Seahawks run defense is? Yep, it's going to be a slaughter.

What the heck got into Vince Young?
The Tennessee Titans are my favorite team in the NFL, and after going a painful 0-6, they've turned it around and have now won four straight. A large part of that turnaround has been Vince Young starting at quarterback... but how? Wasn't he washed up? Wasn't he a headcase? What is going on? Here might be some reasons...
- He stopped drinking tequila... and eating hot pockets (in between snaps).
- He realized that the object of the game is to throw the ball to recievers with preferable the same jersey that he was wearing which was actually a problem in preseason since he was wearing a different red jersey than everyone else so he wouldn't get it. The "Cut Me" sign on the back didn't help either.
- A snuggie awaits the underside of his Christmas tree if he keeps winning.
- He started listening to Fireflies by Owl City. Then the other team started making fun of him. He got quite angry.
- Jeff Fisher said John Madden would eat him if he didn't play better.
So there you have it! Go Titans!

Epic Video: Titans owner Bud Adams flips off Buffalo's owner
The Titans smoked the Bills this weekend, but that isn't as big of story as Tennessee owner Bud Adams doing this hilarious flip off act to Buffalo's owner. Awesome, old people a great.

Epic Photo: Vince Young seems to be doing just fine
This time last year he was thinking about killing himself. Now? He's waving to fans. What a difference a year makes. Go Vince Young... and don't go all crazy again please.
So should I be angry about this Seahawks loss?
I mean last time these two teams played, the Seahawks got owned royally. This time around they have seemed to improve quite a bit (something the WSU Cougars are not doing), and Justin Forsett has emerged as Seattle's best rusher. But still... disappointing to say the least.
At least the Tennessee Titans won today as Vince Young seems to have revitalized this franchise. They've won three straight. Mark it down. And they're still three games under .500. CRAP. One thing that I can hang my hat on is Chris Johnson being the modern-day Barry Sanders. Whats the over-under on his Madden Overall Rating next year? 95? 97?
Seattle looks like a 6-10 team, Tennessee looks like a 7-9 team. And it looks like I'll be hoping for baseball season early this year.

The Battle of JustSON
Tonights NFL game features the Titans and the Colts. Two of our favorite teams around here at JustSON.
Brandon will be wearing his Eddie George jersey tonight while trying to will Titans to their first win of the season.
I will be wearing my Peyton Manning jersey while hoping the Colts can stay perfect.
And then there is the guy in the picture to the right. Umm....
It's Sunday Night Football.
It's a battle of AFC South teams.

Epic Video: Music City Miracle
Just reliving some former Titans magic. By the way, that was not a forward pass. Casey is jealous because the Colts don't have a cool play like this.

Titans running back isn't an alcoholic anymore
Well this is good news for my Tennessee Titans. Remember all the talk about how LenDale White shed 30 pounds in the offseason. Well this is how he did it..."I really got to be honest," White said. "It wasn't a lot of major diet changes. (It was) watching what I drink. I was a big Patron consumer. ... That's what it was. I was drinking a lot, drank a lot of alcohol. I cut that out of my diet all the way. I don't drink at all. I cut the drinking, I stopped drinking for six months... It started falling off."
30 pounds worth?!!!?!! Was this guy throwing Sunrise parties every day? Maybe this means I should stop having that morning glass(es) of gin every day. Hmmm..

Eastern Washington University Red-White game
After spending the morning at Camp Cross in Couer d'Alene, I made a bee-line back to Cheney for the annual Red-White spring game of the Eastern Washington University football team. They may have had NCAA sanctions put against them so that they cannot reach the postseason next year, but it was sure nice to see some college football being played again. The weather was terrible - cold and slightly rainy - but apparently everyone decided to wear shorts to the event which boggled my bundled up mind. Here are some images from the event...

Meet senior tight end Nathan Overbay, who happens to be catching a touchdown pass in this photo. The thing about Overbay that stuck out in the Red-White game was that nobody could stop him. One drive consisted of Nichols just throwing the ball to him every single down (give or take). And there's nothing you can do about this guy - he's 6-5 and plays like he's about Dikembe Mutumbo's height. Eastern Washington could telegram the other team what plays they're going to throw to Overbay and there's nothing they could do about it - he's that talented.

Properly named Beau Baldwin yelling or chewing out a player or something on the sidelines. Is that not the best football name? It's right up there with Hayden Fox, Joe Paterno, Vince Lombardi and Knute Rockne. I'm just rooting for this guy to win a national championship so they can name the stadium or field after him.
"We're here at Beau Baldwin field for the Eagles vs. the Grizzlies. By the way, don't forget to stop by the Brandon Hansen concessions stands in the lower level."
That would be perfect.

Michael Roos, former EWU lineman and current Tennessee Titans player. Which instantly makes him one of my favorite people in the NFL. If he were a ginger - it would be perfect - but he's obviously bald. He does have his own Wikipedia page though - that's big-timing it.

Eastern Washington University quarterback Matt Nichols was the only signal caller with a blue jersey, meaning that all the backups actually got sacked. Which was entertaining, and sad for the backups.

Here's your new playmaker for the Eagles - Taiwan Jones - who switched from cornerback to running back and boy, is he going to be a playmaker. He had two long touchdown runs in the scrimmage prior to the Red-White game and scored twice today. After seeing him in person, he seems like the kind of guy that if you give him any sort of open space he'll be gone.
Aaron Boyce doing his thing. Big Sky cornerbacks take notice and make sure you can take a hit on your backside.

Okay, Eastern Washington Athletics, I'm sure this is athletic tape or something but PLEEEEASE put a white stripe on the helmets. See how cool this looks?

Is that Tony Davis striking a HEISMAN POSE?
Matt Nichols punting... no joke, they wont have another punter until fall. So Nichols took the punts and did quite well. He even had a one over 60 yards. Somebody get that quarterback a contract!
