WWE wins their fight against the NBA... sorta

This is why people that watch the WWE don't have hot girlfriends. Serious.

Vince McMahon got his takedown of Denver Nuggets owner Stan Kroenke on the WWE television show Monday night.

Sort of.

During the World Wrestling Entertainment's "Monday Night Raw" show, McMahon shoved a mock Kroenke to the mat and the faux Kroenke fell out of the ring at the Staples Center. The wrestling card was switched from the Pepsi Center last week to Los Angeles because of Game 4 of the Lakers-Nuggets series being played in Denver. Originally, the date was held by the WWE.

And the following match... errr skit... just shows you what kind of intelligent storyline that an astute and classy organization such as the WWE can provide.

The imitation Kroenke then announced that he is "the owner of the soon-to-be NBA champion Denver Nuggets. And I cannot stand the WWE or its fans, for that matter."

"Do you think that I care that I screwed thousands of WWE fans? I do not. I have much more important things to do with my team than worry about you people."

McMahon then entered the fray, ambling into the ring and telling the pretend Kroenke, "None of this had to happen. All you had to do was pick up the phone, say `I didn't think my team would make the playoffs, I screwed up."

Seconds later, McMahon shoved "Kroenke" after warning him, "When you push the WWE universe, they push back."

The finale featured five-man tag teams wearing Nuggets and Lakers jerseys. The Lakers won, eliciting loud cheers from the Staples Center crowd.

Meanwhile, back in the real world where fans actually have jobs... the Nuggets beat the Lakers in Game 4. Now that Staples Center crowd might witness their team get eliminated, but hey, at least they got to see one heck of a wrassling match too.

Reasons why you're still single... Denver Nuggets

You were a Denver Nuggets fan before they were actually good, and are excited that they have a chance to make their first NBA Finals ever.

Listen, we understand that the Nuggets are good now, but honestly before they got Carmelo - what was the big hype about them?

(Other than the No. 8 seed beating the No. 1 seed, a.k.a. Denver beating Seattle. But we'll never mention that again on this blog. NEVER)

Epic Photo: Kobe Bryant being blocked

The Western Conference Finals is tied 2-2 and we could be looking at an NBA Finals that may not have Kobe and Lebron, heck it may not have either.

Are you hoping for a Cavs-Lakers Finals or something different?

Forget the Western Conference Finals, let's bust out the WWE!

As much as I like steroid-fueled men try to knock the crap out of one another, the NFL doesn't start for a while. I guess it will be just the natural players of the NBA slugging things out in the Western Conference Finals.

However, the WWE is now embroiled in a battle over Denver's Pepsi Center where Game Four of the series is slated to be played next Monday. WWE Raw is also scheduled at the Pepsi Center as the same time.

So what does this mean? Well, it means that it's time for Vince McMahon to say something stupid...

"Even though the Denver Nuggets had a strong team this year and were projected to make the playoffs, obviously Nuggets and Pepsi Center owner Stan Kroenke did not have enough faith in his own team to hold the May 25th date for a potential playoff game," said WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

Let's send some pissmen (drug testers) to the door of WWE Raw and see what happens. Something tells me that everyone would scatter like cockroaches. That should free up the Pepsi Center for the NBA. Listen I love wrestling as much as the next guy living with his grandpa, girlfriend-less and hopelessly addicted to sports, but let's not forget ITS THE WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS.

I'm sure all the jobless wrestling fans can come back on Tuesday or Wednesday night.

George Karl may be a great NBA coach, and a Klingon

I've noticed this about Denver Nuggets coach George Karl, who's team leads the their second-round playoff series against the Dallas Mavericks 3-1. Here's Karl...

And here's a Klingon...

Just saying...

Things that were bigger blowouts than Nuggets 121, Hornets 63

Things didn't go exactly as planned for the New Orleans Hornets when they lost to the Denver Nuggets 121-63 in the playoffs two nights ago. As my friend Colin said...

"That's like spotting the other team one half of basketball."

If that were only the case. Luckily, we here at JustSON don't like to dwell on the past failures of other people (How many World Series have the Yankees won since 2001, yeah that's right, NONE). That's why I present you with "Things that were bigger blowouts than Nuggets 121, Hornets 63"

1. Titanic vs. Iceberg, 1912, Northern Atlantic.
It sunk only slightly quicker than the XFL.

2. The Dinosaurs vs. the Meteor, 65 million years ago, planet earth.
They had about as much chance as the Detroit Pistons did against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

3. The US vs. Iraq, 1991, the Persian Gulf.
Would Saddam Hussein be the Persian Gulf equivalent of Art Shell?

4. Gravity vs. Person who doesn't have a parachute, much too often, skydiving weddings.
Better hope the groom has life insurance.

5. Mini van parents who think they can afford a $500,000 house with a 25,000 a year income and banks that accept them vs. the reality of the US economy, just happened, everywhere.
Well at least now we can worry about the swine flu?
