If you took a close look, you'll see that Boston is now 6 and half games ahead in the standings and with 18 games to go, that's a lot of ground to make up for Texas. And then don't forget that Seattle is floating around still, 12 games back and lurking. By lurking I mean Seattle is in the parking lot, warming up the car, ready to drive off into the sunset that is another season without the playoffs. Overall, looks like the Sox might be playing some extra games after all...
