What the hell is wrong with these Cable Channels...

Due to a recent career change, I find myself with lots of free time to watch TV. One thing I've noticed is that there's a buttload of crappy television going on during the day. Let me explain...

ESPN - They're showing live video of their radio shows... yep, radio shows. I love radio, but these guys are sitting in a studio in front of a mic. Whoop-de-freakin' doo. Might as well show Erin Andrews chewing gum... oh wait... I'd watch that.

The History Channel - I'm cool with the History Channel when they show history. When they show middle-aged men collecting bicycles and getting their jollies off... well that just wont do.

Comedy Central - Cedric the Entertainer has not had the best of movie careers. So why are you running a marathon of his movies?

Local Public Cable - The Spokane Real Estate Show? Isn't the housing economy a gaping hole of sadness and broken dreams?

WGN - Scrubs is on 20 other cable channels, don't know why it has to be on your station.

VS. - During the day, it's a bunch of MMA highlight shows, which is about as entertaining as watching goats fall down.

FSN - Wonderful! A replay of this year's Washington High School 3A Football Championship Game?!?! Well, at least it's better football than the Washington State Cougars.

Food Network - "Places you wouldn't believe serves food because they violate so many health codes"  ... not my favorite show.

TLC - Fat American needs a tummy tuck. Small person needs tall person knees. Fat broke mom needs to cash in on a reality show to pay bills. Generally annoying home improvement keep babbling about a house color scheme. Ladies and Gentlemen! Your lineup on TLC.

TBS - The George Lopez Show? Oh hell no...

So as you can see, I've been watching a lot of DVDs.
