Great news coming out of the state of Montana. Salish-Kootenai College (SKC) will play Eastern Washington University in men's basketball on Nov. 19th in Cheney, Wash. SKC is located just outside of Polson in Pablo, MT and it one of the premier tribal colleges in the nation.
They also have a damn good basketball team. The men's team has won five of the last six tribal college national championships. Meaning Eastern will have it's handful in this early season matchup.
It also means that god willing, I'll be able to travel to Cheney and cover the team and the Eags. Here is hoping. Nov. 19th, don't forget it!
