Eastern Washington University's star football player, Taiwan Jones might miss another game this season.
The school told SWX on Monday evening that Jones is borderline questionable or probable for Saturday's game in Greeley. The Walter Payton Award candidate left the game against the Lumberjacks on Saturday with hip and back spasms.
Saturday the number 12 Eastern Eagles are traveling to Northern Colorado. They need to win out to stay pace with Montana State and Montana in the hunt for the Big Sky Championship.
Jones suffered a cut on his leg near the groin area in the loss to Montana State two weeks ago. He didn't play in the win at Weber State.
Sure hope he can get back up to full health and help the Eagles make a push for the championship.
