Portland Timbers new jersey

Today was the unveiling of the Portland Timbers jersey.

I watched it online. It was a pretty neat little ceremony. Since Alaska Airlines is the sponsor, the event was held in the Alaska Airlines hanger.

The unveiling started by opening the hanger to showcase the new "Portland Timbers" painted jet for Alaska Airlines. The jet was then rolled in and the participants came off it.

Most of the gear is pretty standard. But the big item was to see what the jersey would look like.

The kit was completed by pairing with white shorts that had green stripes. It really is a nice color combination.

Not bad looking at all. And sadly, much better looking than the new "X-Men" Seattle Sounders FC jerseys.
