Headlines: The day after St. Patty Mills Day.

Note to the rest of the NIT field: Patty Mills is healthy after he dropped 27 points in a Gaels victory over the Washington State Cougars last night. Yeah, the same Cougars that play a lot of defense.

This matchup between St. Mary's and the Davidson Stephen Currys should be a fun treat for college basketball fans.

Without further delay here is our first round of Headlines for the day:

Obama nominates Steelers owner Dan Rooney the ambassador to Ireland.
Wonder if he'll screw the Irish out of a Super Bowl too.

Our friends over at Tailgate 365.com seem to think the Denver Broncos are screwed after the whole Jay Cutler ordeal. I agree with them.

If you're an NBA fan with any sense of humor, you'll enjoy this t-shirt. If you're a Lakers fan, enjoy Adam Morrison.

Spokane County's Unemployment Rate is now a whopping 9.7 percent. Guess that means more people will have time to attend the Spokane Shock game tomorrow.

Seattle is going crazy for the debut of the Sounders. Because lets face it, the Sonics aren't around anymore. Casey will be at the game on Thursday while I watch from a bar somewhere hitting on Sasquatch.

Tom Brady is officially the new Apollo Creed before the fight in the first Rocky movie. Remember how he didn't train and just promoted? Any Pats fans worried about this upcoming season?
