Not one to judge, since I've been compared to rodents before a time or two in my life (I believe the term "spineless sack of ..." well nevermind), but Mark Few apparently doesn't like Spokane.1510 KGA, the radio station that broadcasts the Gonzaga games, has a weekly coaches show starting in January focusing on the Bulldogs every Tuesday night. Now one would think that the head coach of the team would occasionally show up to do the show.
However, I was listening to Spokane's Sports Show this afternoon on 1510 KGA, and the truth came out that in 12 shows this season - Mark Few has penciled out Tuesday nights to do the radio show a grand whopping total of:
Once.
Now, we know Gonzaga is a "national program" (plays in the mid-major WCC) and that they don't need to beg for cover (Because ESPN loves you) and that Mark Few is a family man and needs to be home on Tuesday nights (choking on my toungue at this moment) - but you would think that the hometown radio station that ran your team's games over the air might like it if you showed up to your own show every now and then.
People wonder why I hate Gonzaga, it's things like this that make me not root for the Zags. If you're so high and mighty why have you been bounced from the first round of the tournament for the past two seasons?
Oh yeah, and MARK FEW CAN'T GUARD THE THREE!
when was the last time EWU was even in the NCAA tourney? or even the NIT for that matter?! You are just jealous that your school doesnt ever get any coverage and that you need to recruit Zag fans to cheer on your school as your own students don't have much enthusiasm for their lack luster athletic program! Cept oh that's right I believe they were in the news somewhat recently... I believe it wasnt for the best of reasons though...
