A postcard that was mailed from Helena, Montana, in 1962 finally arrived in Hudson, Ohio.
It was 47 years late and now, both the sender and the recipient have passed away.
Now the post office said that the postcard probably got stuck in some machine or fell behind some equipment. But here's my list of possibly what took so long for the postcard to get delivered:
1. Montana still uses the pony express.
2. Montana always has snow, therefore the truck probably got lost in a snowstorm.
3. Montana is so large it took along time to get this postcard across it.
4. The letter deliverer actually went north on accident. They started and ended their career delivering that same postcard.
5. The postcard said, "Wish you were here." Nobody really wishes that about Montana. Maybe, "Wish I wasn't here."
