I came across a story today on the Silicon Valley Mercury News site (don't ask why I was on their site, the Internet is my kryptonite) that was about a lady in Boulder Creek, California who flipped her boss' Ferrari.
The damage to the flipped sports car was estimated at $125,000.
Alcohol was not involved in the crash, and the car was borrowed with permission. Oh, and the driver was a 23-year-old woman.
Wait wait wait! Stop right there. Why would a boss, who could afford a Ferrari, let his 23-year-old worker borrow it to go cruising? Hmmm....now that is a question I think needs answered.
I bet his insurance goes sky rocketing now.
Speaking of car insurance, I just paid mine for half the year. Yikes! And I have never been in an accident or gotten a ticket. Problem is, I'm 24-years-old, not married and male. Yep, that's it right there. Male. I didn't crash a sports car like the lady mentioned above, but thanks to statistics, I am more of a liability.
Those epic guys over at Barats & Bereta know what I'm taking about. Check out this video they made that explains the logic behind car insurance perfectly.
