Simmons-Reilly 1: The Podcast

If you haven't started listening to Bill Simmons podcast on weekdays at the World Wide Leader, I highly recommend it. It not only rules my daily schedule but he gets some pretty interesting people on that show.

Like today he had a guy on there that apparently went to high school three different times during his life. As in he graduated, and went back to high school twice (once when he was 27).

And the podcast before that he had Rick Reilly on the show, the former Sports Illustrated columnist who I was convinced that Simmons hated. But apparently they're friends. And they like one another. And they actually make a pretty interesting podcast, especially when Reilly started dogging on his Sports Illustrated.

Which by the way, has the sports magazine drifted into irrevelence if a big name like Reilly jumped ship to go over to ESPN? Are we going to see the slow demise of Sports Illustrated?

Anyways, this makes ESPN not as much fun anymore. I would rather have Simmons (my favorite writer in the world) pissed off at the company, feuding with Reilly and then to end everything with a cage match. But apparently that won't happen.

Stupid company harmony.
