Okay, this hasn't exactly been a winter

What the hell is going on in Spokane? It is now February and I don't think we've had any snow on the ground to speak of. When it does snow, it melts away within a day. Last year at this time, we had something like two feet of snow on the ground.

Now? Well, here are the toughest things about this winter...

(1) Finding a pair of shorts that looks trendy yet conservative.
(2) Finding a good sun-bathing location.
(3) Scraping off the sun-baked mud off my car.
(4) Putting aloe on my sunburns.
(5) Figuring out when they're having a pool day at Riverfront park.

If you will excuse me, I have some beach volleyball to play...
