Northwest Photographer of the week: Krystal Brown

Our Northwest Photographer this week is Krystal Brown, an outdoor enthusiast and it certainly shows in her great photography. Here is what she had to say:

I have always had a passion for art, whether it be drawing, painting, or photography. I have been a photographer for about 6 years, the last 3 years pursuing it as a career. My favorite photography is nature and spontaneous portraits. The northwest has so many beautiful plants and scenes that it's hard not to live here and not be an outdoor photographer!

I've attached one (it was so hard to choose!) of my favorite photos that showcases Northwest foliage. This was taken off one of the many Mount Baker trails.

You can see more of Krystal's photography at http://www.solarflarephotography.com/.

Think you've got a great Northwest photo? Want to see it hosted on Just South of North? Send your submissions to justsouthofnorth@gmail.com.

Please include your name, a short caption about the photo (date, location, and what makes it special) and your location. Check back every Friday for our Northwest Photographer of the week!
