All year, the talk, the reports, the news stories, have been about fuel. Mainly, more fuel efficient vehicles. Then it snows and gets cold in Washington. And now, all the SUV's are back out. And in even greater numbers. So much for gas consumption. Or wait, maybe it's because gas has gone done in price. Hmmm.....

ReplyDeleteI drive a Ford Escape. It's a company car, and the genius in charge of purchasing it just figured that because they make an Escape Hybrid, regular Escapes must get good gas mileage too. By the time I told him the 6-cylinder model only gets about 18 mpg, my company had already purchased the vehicle.
ReplyDeleteI actually have grown to like the car though. Even though the mileage is not great, it beats my old 13 mpg V-8 Dodge.
