We talked about this on the radio show today (on 1510 AM KGA in Spokane, 12-2pm OR visit 1510kga.com for a listen live link), but here's a little recap.
Mirza is India's biggest tennis star. So her engagement to a Pakistani cricketer makes them basically the Tom and Gisele of the subcontinent. There's a small problem: he might have already legally married another woman — over the phone.
Try to follow along; this is complicated, but oh so juicy. Mirza and Shoaib Malik's engagement was announced last week, with a wedding to follow next week. But almost immediately, a woman named Ayesha Siddiqui came forward to say that she was married to Malik, and has been since 2002.
Here's what happened: Malik and Siddiqui were in, essentially, an arranged marriage, with the two never meeting each other until after their wedding day. How is that possible? Well, they had what's called a "telephone nikah" — they literally got married over the phone.
Malik, after days of denying everything, has changed his story. Now he says he was emotionally forced into the wedding, and he was never sent real photos of Siddiqui, but rather a younger, more attractive woman.
Now here is the choice facing Malik. Would he rather be married to her...
or her...
I think Malik need's to do whatever the heck he can to get out of this previous marriage. Perhaps take a page from Tiger Woods' playbook?

This is where I'm getting married
Pig out in the Park is going on in Spokane right now. And being the quirky city that it is... somebody got married during the event.
After the Spokane band Blue Canoe wrapped up a rocking rendition of “Peace, Love and Understanding,” a brand-new act stepped to the stage Saturday afternoon at Pig Out in the Park.
Jack Gibson and Kimberly Knox, of Moses Lake, got married on the City Hall stage before a cheering audience of strangers. It was the first wedding in the event’s 30-year history.
Nothing says I love you like getting married in a carnival-like atmosphere where people basically stuff their face. This is going to be me in 10 years. Woo!

Things you shouldn't do at your buddy's Bachelor party
1. Assign him as the designated driver so you can get slobbernocked.2. Tell everybody that "Hey, I just kind of want to take it easy tonight, how about we all just go to Starbucks."
3. Start handing out pamphlets at the bar for a religious service on Sunday.
4. Bring your mother along.
5. Call the police just in case something bad happens.
6. Tell the guys at the Piano bar that you're at they're a bunch of pusses because they can't play Thriller. Then follow through with a Michael Jackson dance to "Rocketman" just to prove your point.
7. Call the bride to be and tell her she needs to come by for a cameo.
8. Call the bride to be and tell her you're secretly in love with her.
9. Sit in the corner of the bar because the flatscreen TV is showing "The Rookie" on TBS.
10. Work the next morning at 6 a.m.
