Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the NEW movie

Growing up the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were the coolest. Oh who am I kidding, they still are the coolest.

I saw this over at Superhero Hype:

Michael Bay and the rest of Platinum Dunes will oversee the launch of a new live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, according to Deadline New York. The film marks the first non-horror remake for Platinum Dunes, who will team with Paramount and Nickelodeon to re-adapt the property.

The franchise, which began as a black and white comic book series in 1984, rose to tremendous popularity when it became an animated series in 1987.

Following the first live-action film in 1990, the series spawned two live-action sequels, a live-action television series, a second animated series and a CGI feature film.

AWESOME!!!!! I can't wait.

Seattle Ninja impales self on fence

Thanks to Keenan for pointing this story out. Apparently they don't make ninjas like they use to because you would never seen the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in this position.

An officer who was looking for an assault victim nearby Monday night heard the man screaming for help. Police supported him to prevent further injuries until medics arrived to take him to Harborview Medical Center. A hospital spokeswoman said Tuesday he was in serious condition in intensive care.

Police spokeswoman Renee Witt wrote in a department Web site posting that officers thought he might have been involved in the reported assault, but the man insisted he was just a ninja trying to clear a 4- to 5-foot-tall fence.

Damn fences! Always foiling ninja plans!

Other people that did steroids

Sure people are making a fuss about Manny and A-Rod doing steroids but what about these people...

Babe Ruth - He went from hitting 11 home runs in 1918, to 29 in 1919, to 54 dingers in 1920. If that doesn't scream steroids I don't know what does. Sure they hadn't been invented yet, and sure his rise in homers could of had something to do with him switching from pitcher to an everyday position player but he's a Yankee, and that's enough to suspect he was 'roiding up.

Screech - How else could he have kept up with the insane shooting schedule of Saved by the Bell and remain so on top of his awkward dorky game. Roids man, Roids.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - This is their current day rendition. Remember when they were friendly Saturday Morning Cartoons. Now they look like they could rip the pull tab off of that tin-can Shredder. What happen? PEDs happened. And HGH. Or rather TMNTGH.

Gozilla - One minute he's a lizard chilling next to Japan, the next he's a gigantic monster using Tokyo like a cheap movie set for an Al Pacino freak out scene. How did he make the leap - it certainly wasn't radiation, whens the last time they dropped a bomb near Japan? Oh... sorry... too soon.

This guy I went to school with, Joel Willits - I seriously went to college with this guy. Same exact guy. This is him. Joel Willits. EWU Grad. Here's is his Twitter Page. Now apparently he moonlights as a baseball player by the name of "Lance Berkman" and he only way I can think of his transformation is steroids. Same guy. Look at his twitter page and a photo of Lance Berkman. I'm just saying.

Ghandi - You're telling me he went 90 days without food and that was natural? That guy was injecting himself in the butt with some many things that Jose Conseco would have said "Whoah man, maybe we should reconsider this?" I mean look at that photo, if that isn't a perfect example of A-Rodesque B**** T*** than I don't know what is.

Random Stuff: A Ninja, a Taco Bell wedding and a grumpy old man

When I think of a ninja, I think of a small man, dressed in black, jumping around kicking butt.

Or maybe a giant turtle.

Or maybe Jackie Chan.

But I certainly don't think of a fat man with a pot belly. No joke, in West Palm Beach, Florida, police are looking for a man described as "portly" complete with belly, dressed in a ninja suit.

The reason they are looking for him is because he has tried (unsuccessfully) to steal two seperate ATM machines over the last two weeks.

Security video from the automated teller machines showed the unidentified man dressed in a black ninja outfit with a hood that showed only his eyes.

A ninja? More like a nonja.

In other news, wedding bells were heard in a Taco Bell. Say What?

In Normal, Illinois, a couple did something, well not Normal. They got married in a Taco Bell restaurant.

Why? you might ask. Because they are not Normal. Well here you go.

The bride wore a $15 hot pink dress and the entire wedding cost about $200. Several dozen guests looked on as the couple's friend, Ryan Green of Normal, administered the vows while wearing a T-shirt. He was ordained online.

"This is the way to go — there's no stress," said the groom's mother, Kathy Brooks.

Caragh Brooks, 21, of Australia, met Paul Brooks, 30, on an Internet dating Web site. They already had the same last name.

The couple wrote back and forth and talked on the phone for nine months before Caragh Brooks moved to the United States.

"We have the same brain, just in two bodies," Paul Brooks said. "We think alike in virtually every manner. We have the same interests, viewpoints."

If they liked it, then that's great. But all I can say is, a hot pink dress, hot sauce packets, tacos and the same brain.

WOW.

And lastly, a man in Stony Point, New York is in trouble for hating people. Yeah, 60-year-old Michael Delisio has been plotting against his enemies for years. How? Well he throws nails in their driveways to cause flat tires.

Seriously, what is suckier than a flat? Nothing.

This man is a genius. Perhaps a bitter old man, but a genius none the less.
