I wrote early today about how Floyd Landis finally came clean about doping in the past.
Well, Lance Armstrong had this to say on his twitter page:
Just spoke to the press here in Visalia. The transcription of my comments will be on www.teamradioshack.com soon. Thanks.
Here's video from before the Tour of California started today:
Look for more about this story to break as the weeks go by.

2010 is already an awesome year for the NBA
Wow, it's New Year's Day and we already have some wildly entertaining sports news. First off, last night Washington Wizard's star Gilbert Arenas started tweeting... and the result might have been the best series of tweets I've read ever. Next, the news comes out that Arenas and a teammate pulled a gun on one another in the locker room on Christmas Eve. Yahtzee!NEW YORK -- Washington Wizards teammates Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton drew guns on each other during a Christmas Eve locker room argument over a gambling debt, according to The New York Post.
Last week, the Wizards and Arenas acknowledged that Arenas had stored unloaded firearms in a container in his locker, and the NBA said it was looking into the situation.
It was during that investigation that a confrontation between Arenas and Crittenton was revealed, according to a Yahoo! Sports report.
The dispute stemmed from an unspecified disagreement, sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Citing an anonymous source, the Post reported in Friday's edition, however, that the standoff was sparked when Crittenton became angry at Arenas for refusing to make good on a gambling debt.
Question... I certainly am for gun rights and everything, but it always cracks me up when there's like the 60 year old guy that finds it necessary to store an entire arsenal in their car and at their house in a small town. What the hell are you going to use all those guns for? Just admit that they aren't just for your protection but also for you to show it off. With Arenas storing firearms in his locker... why? You have a right to own a gun but at what point are you going to use it in the locker room?!
Bizarre and now there's talk about criminal charges, which just seems stupid and an unnecessary waste of our law enforcement. Just slap a big "idiot" sticker on both their foreheads.

The world almost ended this morning

What evil entity would do such a thing? Somebody tried to bring down Twitter, which cause Facebook to freeze up and in the end... cause the destruction of the world as we know it.
(CNN) -- An attack on the social networking site Twitter shut the site down for about two hours on Thursday morning, causing headaches in the online community and glitches in other Web sites like Facebook.
In an e-mail to CNN.com, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone said the site was hit with a "denial of service attack," or an attempt to shut the site down by overwhelming it with traffic.
"There's no indication that this attack is related to any previous activities. We are currently the target of a denial of service attack," Stone said in the e-mail.
"Attacks such as this are malicious efforts orchestrated to disrupt and make unavailable services such as online banks, credit card payment gateways, and in this case, Twitter for intended customers or users. We are defending against this attack now and will continue to update our status blog as we defend and later investigate."
Twitter's site went down around 9:30 a.m. ET on Thursday. A message posted on Twitter's status blog said the site was active again by 11:30 a.m., but that the site remained under attack.
"We are continuing to defend against and recover from this attack," the message says.
Users of other social networking sites were also experiencing trouble on Thursday morning. Facebook users reported pieces of the site were down and there was speculation those problems were related to the Twitter attack.
Meanwhile MySpace is still working! So if you want to get 85 friend request from spambot cam girls, be my guest! The rest of us will be in a bomb shelter waiting for the social networking Apocalypse to pass.

Matt Hasselbeck has found Twitter
Apparently Matt Hasselbeck has been screwing around with Twitter and caused quite a ruckus. He posted the following yesterday, causing Hawk fans to collectively take a dump in their pants.I either have an ear infection or some bees crawled in my ear, stung me, and are building a bee hive.
Matt Hasselbeck ladies and gentlemen! Boy he's funny. I haven't heard something that funny since "We want the ball and we're gonna score" or whatever mess he made up in Green Bay.
Now people were freaking out because ear infections can be a serious deal if you're a player because it affects your depth perceptions and sense of balance - something you might need while playing football.
This caused the Seahawks to post a news story that basically said "Boy that Twitter, it sure is funny. Matt's okay though. Seriously he's fine. HE'S FINE!!!"
I'm beginning to really enjoy this Twitter thing.

How to tell if you're addicted to the internet
1. You refer to people that play World of Warcraft as internet posers, and think that you shouldn't need to pretend to be a night elf in order to right a blog about being a night elf.2. You twitter that you're on Twitter.
3. You're friends know you as that "LOL CATZ" person.
4. The internet was out for an hour one time, you can't remember what you did when your brain blacked out. You did however wake up with somebody's baby in the closet and a chimpanzee in doctor's clothing clanging pots and pans in the kitchen.
5. When you say "Dark Ages" you're referring to Dial-up. When you say "The 80s" you're referring to when your computer modem only transferred 80k at a time.
6. When you make out with your girlfriend, "Numa Numa" has to be playing in the background.
7. When people lament about how the internet is killing newspapers, you say "yeah, we showed those bastards."
8. You haven't been out of your house since Will Ferrell put out a good movie.
9. You think Canada is actually just a state in the US where they end all their web addresses with .ca.
10. You've watched an entire episode of Star Trek on You Tube. On a Friday Night. In your mother's basement. With your girlfriend. Who's actually just a stuffed Chewbacca doll.
